Besides it's natural beauty, Scotland is the birthplace of golf . The ancient sport flourished in this country for centuries and continues to be one of the biggest attractions of Scotland.
This sport is originally from the east coast of Scotland - Aberdeenshire, in the kingdom of Fife and the Southwest around Prestwick . The legendary champions of golf Tom Morris and James Braid became architects and designed golf courses scattered throughout Scotland who were instrumental in the international recognition of the practice of this noble sport.
